Well, on January 2nd, I'll be taking the 6 AM Delta Connection flight to Manchester, New Hampshire. A couple of nights ago, I sent in my resume to the McCain HQ in in New Hampshire. If you want to volunteer, click here! This afternoon, I received a call from Kim (last name omitted) asking if I was still willing to travel up. It's the least I can do.
My hotel is near the airport--good thing I love airplanes!--but only minutes from downtown Manchester. I'm sure that's the (bad) good reason that they had rooms when nobody else did. But I'm not in Manchester to vacation, but to work. Since I'm coming on late, they don't know me from Adam, and the campaign is staffed up, I'm sure I'll be licking stamps. Weird, not since the mid-80's have I done "regular" work; owning your own company does that. But this is about doing whatever I can, whatever I'm told by the campaign, to do my part to help this great man become our next president. Those who know me realize that I have never talked this way about any politician. But from what I've seen of Senator McCain over the years on the boob-tube, he is no regular politician, but is instead an example of what people can be if they choose to be leaders.
I'll write until I have nothing left to say. Until then, stay tuned to "Air McCain"
